Thales is to set up a new competence center in Tubize (Belgium) for the development of a C4ISR* system enabling the entire chain of command to rapidly assimilate and exploit all sources of information.<\/p>\n\n\n

The C4ISR operational intelligence standard brings together sensors and tactical operational information and communication systems in a single interoperable architecture. C4ISR systems must be able to rapidly exploit data from all sources. In Belgium, the system will naturally include the various components (air – land – sea – medical). The aim is to improve efficiency and speed of action and to foster cooperation between armies.<\/p>\n\n\n

The creation of the center of excellence will be accompanied by the recruitment of AI systems engineers and data scientists. According to Thales Belgium, the new center of excellence will be operational in the third quarter of 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
